Types of Samsung Screen Cracks We Repair
Glass-only cracks — the display still works fine but the outer glass is cracked. The touch response is unaffected and there's no discolouration. On older Samsung models it was possible to replace just the glass, but on modern Galaxy phones the glass is fused to the AMOLED panel, so a full assembly replacement is standard.
Cracked glass with display damage — cracks that reach the AMOLED layer cause ink-bleed (dark spreading patches), dead touch zones, or colour distortion. A full screen assembly replacement is required.
