Your Samsung no longer vibrates for calls, notifications, or haptic feedback when typing. A silent vibrator means you miss calls and messages when the phone is on silent. This is a hardware fault — the vibration motor has failed or become disconnected. Call 0723763173 and we'll fix it at our Nairobi workshop.
Why Has the Samsung Vibrator Stopped Working?
- Vibration motor failure — the motor component itself has worn out or burned out; this is the most common cause
- Disconnected motor connector — a drop can dislodge the small connector that links the vibration motor to the motherboard
- Settings turned off — before assuming hardware, check: Settings › Sounds and Vibration and ensure vibration is enabled for calls, notifications, and touch feedback
- Software fault — in rare cases a software update disables the vibration motor driver; a factory reset or firmware reflash resolves this
- Liquid damage — moisture in the motor assembly causes corrosion and failure
Confirming It's Hardware
Go to Settings › Sounds and Vibration › Vibration Intensity and drag all sliders to maximum. If you feel nothing at all, it's hardware. If you feel very faint vibration, the motor is degraded rather than fully failed — replacement is still recommended.
You can also dial a test code: *#0*# and select "Vibration" to run a hardware test from the Samsung diagnostics menu.
